Product Overview

The ABLOY EL460 electric lock is intended for profile doors in environments requiring one-sided access control and evacuation functionality, such as commercial offices, public buildings, and fire safety zones. This self-locking, split-spindle lock is certified for emergency exit compliance under PN EN 179 and PN EN 1125, as well as CE, EN 12206 (grade 6), EN 1634-1, and EN 61000-6-1/EN 61000-6-3 for electromagnetic compatibility. It operates at 12V or 24V DC with selectable fail-locked or fail-unlocked modes set during installation.

The integrated multi-signal monitoring system distinguishes the EL460 from standard electric locks by providing continuous status feedback on latch position, handle press, door state, key usage, and tamper loop.
