The horizontal key system provides maximum user convenience, and the lack of sharp edges makes the key virtually unnoticeable in your pocket.
The X12 insert is standardly equipped with an emergency function (secure clutch), meaning that if the key is left on the inside of the lock, the door can still be closed from the outside with a second key. The solution is SKG certified, meaning the door inserts are fully protected against various manipulative methods such as drilling, picking, and bumping. A security card and an additional pin in the insert protect against illegal key copying or the creation of a new insert.
12 special hardened steel pins protect against drilling and prevent break-ins. The extended key shank allows for installation of the insert even with anti-burglary escutcheons. The lock inserts have proven fire resistance, allowing their use in public places. The set includes 5 drilled, paracentric keys. The product comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
