Magnetic lock designed for interior doors weighing up to 100kg, used in residential construction. The manufacturer specifies the durability of the lock at 200,000 cycles.
The latch is automatically ejected when the door is closed by mutual attraction of magnets.
When locking the lock with an insert, key or toilet knob, the latch is disengaged from the handle mechanism, which results in the free possibility of pressing the handle, but does not open the lock.
Do not lock the lock when the door is open
The maximum distance of the striker from the lock, ensuring effective locking, is 5mm.
Manufacturer's notes for installation:
- the distance between the face plate of the lock and the striker plate must not be greater than 5mm
- it is not recommended to use a magnetic lock for doors with gaskets of high hardness and rigidity, as they negatively affect the lock operation
- it is recommended to take special care during installation and removal of the door leaf
- if the door cannot be opened when operating the handle, check whether the lock has not been locked.
