Product Overview

Marvon Tecnoflame 20x2 mm intumescent self-adhesive gasket is engineered for passive fire protection applications, expanding significantly under elevated temperature conditions. Suitable for installation in fire-rated frames made of metal, wood, or aluminum, as well as in fire shutters, suspended ceilings, industrial gates, lift doors, and partition walls, this product carries B2 fire classification according to German DIN 4102 and is certified by the German Institute for Building Technology.

Unlike standard foam tapes, Tecnoflame delivers a high expansion ratio of 1:10 and begins to activate at around 180°C, ensuring reliable sealing well before maximum fire temperatures are reached. This early activation eliminates the risk of smoke and flame leakage in the initial fire phase, a key procurement criterion for safety system integrators and industrial door manufacturers. Its self-adhesive backing facilitates rapid installation in large OEM and retrofit projects.
