Precision and efficiency - Soudal Flexifoam Gun Foam

Soudal Flexifoam Gun foam is a new generation thermal insulation and sealing product that can be applied with a foam gun. Flexifoam Gun foam has the ability to expand and contract flexibly, allowing it to adapt to different surfaces and structural movements. Installation and sealing foam is an excellent insulation material that helps increase the energy efficiency of buildings by reducing heat loss. The foam is used to seal around windows, doors, pipes, eliminating the passage of unwanted air. The foam hardens quickly after application, creating a durable and stable insulation. Flexifoam Gun is highly weather resistant, extending the life of the application. It can be used both indoors and outdoors on a variety of surfaces.

Characteristics

• High elastic deformation - retains full flexibility and regular structure of the material with dimensional deformation up to 50% (standard foam - max. 10%)


• Blue color of the foam allows for its immediate identification


• Excellent adhesion to many building substrates: brick, concrete, stone, wood, metals, glazed surfaces and plastics (except PE, PP and Teflon)


• Low expansion rate


• Short curing time


• Excellent thermal and acoustic insulation (RSTW = 63 dB)


• Dimensional stability (no shrinkage or secondary expansion)

Application

• Sealing in the installation of PVC, aluminum and wood joinery, exposed to large temperature and humidity fluctuations or changes in the geometry of window openings, such as in wooden houses and frame structures


• Sealing during the installation of large-size joinery of PSK and HST types


• Filling of all gaps in wall and ceiling joints - especially prone to deflection and deformation, e.g. in lofts


• Sealing, filling and soundproofing of stair treads, partitions, etc. Elements exposed to vibration and mechanical pressures


• Filling and insulation of cable penetrations, elements of central heating and water and sewage systems.
