Plastic plugs made ofpolyethylene, created by injection molding, are the perfect solution for plugging profiles. The upper part of the blank not only gives it an aesthetic appearance, but also has a rough surface, providing protection against scratches during transport or storage in bulk packaging. The lower part of the cap is constructed of a core and protruding "laths" that adjust to the thickness of the profile wall when driven in, providing a stable and durable cover. Polyethylene is characterized by low abrasion, resistance to environmental stress corrosion, high dimensional stability even at low temperatures, and excellent chemical resistance and low water absorption. In addition, polyethylene is resistant to changing weather conditions, UV radiation and has good electrical insulating properties.
