TheYale Smart Door /Window Sensor automatically sends a signal to the control panel to open windows and doors only when the alarm is armed. In this case, the user will immediately receive a notification on his smartphone. The space between the magnet and the sensor should not be larger than 10mm. The door/window sensor can be mounted with mounting screws or mounting tape. Please refer to the alarm manual for installation details. Before mounting the sensor on the door or window permanently, pair the device with the system and perform a test. The pairing method is described in the alarm manual. The door/window sensor is equipped with a pairing and test button, LED indicator light, mounting holes and magnet.

When selecting the mounting location of the sensor and magnet, please note that:
-The sensor and magnet should be mounted as high as possible
-Do not point the motion sensors at the door/window sensor
-The gap between the magnet should not be larger than 10mm
