Never again let a situation arise where you lock your house keys in your apartment. Replace your existing locking system with a cylinder that will not lock itself. In combination with a cylinder lock, you can open the door with just a key. In addition, you can afford to maximize the level of security at your front door. The lock cylinder should be resistant to mechanical damage and have an additional form of protection against tampering. The ABUS model E45 in a nickel finish has a pawl design and the internal components are made of very robust stainless steel. You can have the keys made up on the spot at a nearby service center without relying on the manufacturer's lead times. The range includes half cylinders, double-sided cylinders and models with a knob for greater locking freedom.
