Let's start with the differences. What exactly are shell and profile doors? The former are made entirely of simple sheet metal, with properly finished edges - their surface is smooth and flawless. On the other hand, the latter have a frame around the leaf, which forms the so-called system profile. These doors together with suitable anti-panic hardware are recommended for closing staircases in blocks of flats and public buildings. Both variants - profile and jacket doors can be used as internal and external doors, they can also have glazing or illumination. Thanks to their rigid steel construction and ball bearing hinges, the door leaves do not fall down and do not require constant adjustment. Even the most intensive use of the hardware will not cause its rapid wear or destruction. You will find dedicated locks with various anti-panic functions that will make your space management easier.
