Gerda is the best recognized security-related brand on the Polish market. Gerda E1 brass cylinder locks are known for their very good quality to many users. WK E1 models have been tested by the Institute of Precision Mechanics and received a 2nd class of key-related security, for that the cylinder's durability is the highest according to PN-EN 1303:2015-07 - class 6, which means a minimum of 100,000 cycles. Corrosion resistance is declared in class B (the highest is class C). The manufacturer declares that they can be used in fire separations [ITB-KOT-2018/0132], but cannot be used in escape routes. A very wide range of symmetrical, asymmetrical and half models will allow easy installation in almost any door. In this group you will also find products equipped with a pinion instead of a taker.
